Profile settings

Hi, Darren,
In light of our conversation after the chat on Friday, I have searched for any way that “username” could be added to the profiles. I can’t find it. Perhaps that is not what’s needed, however, as their username is integral to their profile (or, perhaps, is meant to be invisible).

• Can Username be added to the available attributes?
  

Please let me know if this is possible.

Here’s another the odd thing:
Even though First Name is an attribute in the Profile settings, it does not show up in the list for the profile search. Is there  a place where this is controlled? If so, can you please show me where that is.
