Hi Christian,

We looked into the issue you were seeing below.

It appears that the Student Profiles page did not have View Page permissions set for Accepted Students.
We have made the change to allow Accepted Students to see the page.

Here are the steps we took to get to this setting and make the change for future reference:
When logged in as admin, click on "Admin" > "Pages"
Then find "CU Live" and click on "Student Profiles"
Then click on edit.
Scroll down to view the permissions section.
This is where Accepted Students was not checked for "View Page" permission.

I hope this helps understand what the issue at hand was.

Also, I was wondering if you were still having an issue with Timing out? If so, can you please provide me some more details and I can look into that as well.

Thank you,

Hi,
Re: View User Profiles

Users with only the Accepted Students role cannot see the User Profiles module. This needs to be fixed ASAP so that students can see each other.

Mary Chase (admissions director) was having trouble when getting on to Jayspace, starting yesterday morning (as we tested both on Jan. 23 afternoon and Jan 24. morning). She would see everything fine on the Jayspace page, but as soon as she clicked on a User Profile, she received the following message: You do not have access to view this tab within the portal. [I inserted the image below]

I checked out her Security Roles (she had Accepted Student checked), which were not exactly the same as testacc (who had Accepted Student, Accepted Student COBA, Registered User and Test User checked). Her Security Roles were the same as those students who are being auto-assigned roles, however.  They, too, only have (Accepted Student checked).

I thought it might be a glitch with her account. So I created an account. Same results. Something happened, I think, between Jan 23 afternoon and Jan 24 morning. In any case, it needs to be fixed.

Yours,
Christian
