In light of our conversation, I wanted to clarify for myself just what we had discussed as possible strategies for the College of Business accept videos.
Ultimately, in order to use AG to deliver the personalized message either by way of a personalized video or a personalized audio that precedes the video, we would need to be able to have user attributes that are basically the URLs for each media file. Whether we do a personalized video for each or one video with personalized audio on the page, the variable data would be the URL where that media is accessible.
Other than server space (which would be significant in the case of doing personalized videos to each or even personalized audio clips (which would be MUCH smaller), the big issue is this:
How would we make a (audio or video) player of some kind use the variable data when the page loads?
That’s where I hit a road block. Does anyone at James Tower have an answer for that?
Please let me know about this ASAP as time is short and our goals are long.
