Hi Christian,
Actually how we typically remove users is as follows.
We archive every user in the system, you send us a file as normal with only the students you would like to have in the system. The file you send us should contain all of your new 2008-2009 year prospect students, as well as anyone you’d like carried over from the previous year’s data.
When we get the new file and upload it to the system, it will then re-activate any user that is found in the file, and leave all the others as archived.
Does this work for you? – Let me know if there are questions.
Thanks,
Bryon Kuehn

Subject: Re: Removing old imported data
Hi, Bryon,
I’ve been looking through the AG user info. There doesn’t seem to be a way to get a report with the user name rather than the First and Last Name. That’s not really a big deal for me, but to let you know who we want to keep or get rid of, it might be more difficult.
We can dispose of the following:
All Accepted Students COBA (91 total)
All Enrolled users, EXCEPT username “enrolled” (60 total)
All Deposited Students, EXCEPT username “08hartk”
All Prospective Students from Fall 2008 (not sure how you can determine this)
Does this make sense?
Yours,
Christian
