Christian-
Actually, this is something I was going to be contacting you about this week so we could complete the process with you.
The process we follow is what we call rollover…ala, we roll over the old year’s data and then update the site/access with new user data.
The process is as follows:
1. We receive a full user file from Creighton of all users for the upcoming recruitment cycle. In addition to this file, we receive from you any accounts that you have. (administrators, current students, bloggers) that need to be maintained in the coming year as well.
2. Once that information is received, we “archive” all current user records. We then upload the new data file and reopen any accounts that were previously archived, but are in the new data file.
This is something James and I need to call you about. I haven’t been able to find him yet today. Can you please share what your availability today/Wednesday/Friday is to discuss this process?
Darren

Subject: Removing old imported data
Hi, Bryon,
I’m not sure just how we go about this process, but we need to remove old data (user records and imported information).
Is this something we direct? Have you a process in place for this?
Yours,
Christian
