Blogs

Hi, Darren,
I’m starting to think that blogs can be about as ugly a project as the word itself would suggest.

There’s two issues:
  1. Repeated entries
  2. Segregation of blog types (student and faculty/staff)

1. Repeated Entries
One of my bloggers brought this to my attention, while the main blog page no longer has the repeated entries that it once did, many of the individual blogs still do. Here is a list of those that have repeated entries:
  • Josh's blog
  • Karen's blog
  • Jenna's blog
  • Johnny's blog
  • Susie's blog
  • Jeremy's business career blog
  • Ami's blog
Could you please have these repeats removed?

2.
Segregation of blog types (student and faculty/staff)
The blogs “broke” in the first place because I was trying to segregate the types of blogs we want to have. Right now, we have student blogs and a faculty/staff blog. In the future this may include parent and even alumni blogs. I would like to be able to separate these, but I’m not sure how. Can you set up a time for you, me and one of the programmers (would Chris P be the right person?) to talk about how this might be accomplished?

I’ll see you tomorrow.

Yours,
Christian
