The welcome message only seems to work sporadically. For instance, I have a student I’ve created whose major is Accounting.

His roles are: accepted, registered, subscribers
Yesterday, the welcome message seemed to up right (mostly, as it was not always consistent).
This morning he’s had two welcome messages, one of which was for his role. Here’s what he got in Safari after one log in:
Here’s what I got after the second login (Dean Hendrickson):
Please let me know what we can do or what you can find out. We are admitting kids. They may be logging on. At least, we hope they are.
