RE: Flash intros

Christian-

I have forwarded your inquiry to other members of the team for their input, as their level of knowledge is significantly higher than our own.  As we hear back we will try and provide feedback.

Any big plans for the Memorial Day weekend?  Or just relaxing with the family?

Take care and I look forward to touching base soon.

Have a great weekend.

Darren

Subject: Flash intros

Hi, Bryon,
Back when we were setting up the website, we shot some videos that JT converted to flash for the website.
I have included a couple zipped files for reference with the swf, fla and flv files.
Both fla files have the exact same ActionScript, except for the source file for the video (.flv).
What I’ve tried to do is replace the .flv with one that we’ve created here. Everything works just fine except for the fade. It never works on files I have created.
I’m not sure how familiar you are with Flash, but I wondered if someone might be able to help me reuse this code, which obviously CAN be done.
I’m wondering, in particular, if there is something I am not doing when I convert my files to .flv.
I’m attaching one of the .flvs I’ve tried.
Please let me know if you can help with this or know someone who can.
Yours,
Christian
