Re: Analytics not working

Hi, Mary,

RE: Google Analytics

Can we use two accounts?
I have had it in mine (omahane@gmail.com) but would like to add to the creighton.university@gmail.com account, which is shared by the office.

Please let me know if this makes sense.
Yours,
Christian

I can't do anything with Chartbeat, that is Josh's purview.

However you know I didn't add Google analytics to the template.  Seems to me that you had an account already right?  If not I'll create one and add it in today.  If you do have one, all I need is the account number.

The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

Subject: Analytics not working

Hi, Mary,
When you have a chance, could you let me know whether our Google Analytics or Chartbeat is working? I don't think it is.
Here's the chartbeat info:
Place the following code right after the opening head tag (<head>) of your website. Typically, it's best to put it in a header file so that it shows up on all pages.

<script type="text/javascript">var _sf_startpt=(new Date()).getTime()</script>

Place the following code right before the closing body tag (</body>) of your website. Typically, it's best to put it in a footer file so that it shows up on all pages.

<script type="text/javascript">
var _sf_async_config={uid:4136,domain:"creighton.edu"};
(function(){
  function loadChartbeat() {
    window._sf_endpt=(new Date()).getTime();
    var e = document.createElement('script');
    e.setAttribute('language', 'javascript');
    e.setAttribute('type', 'text/javascript');
    e.setAttribute('src',
       (("https:" == document.location.protocol) ? "https://a248.e.akamai.net/chartbeat.download.akamai.com/102508/" : "http://static.chartbeat.com/") +
       "js/chartbeat.js");
    document.body.appendChild(e);
  }
  var oldonload = window.onload;
  window.onload = (typeof window.onload != 'function') ?
     loadChartbeat : function() { oldonload(); loadChartbeat(); };
})();

</script>

Also, I can't figure out how we set up Google Analytics, because I'm not getting any data right now.

Lastly, can I get a ClickTracks login?
Yours,
Christian
